Great weekend after an interesting end to the 1st week of the New Year. Feeling optimistic and the year is off to a great start- new projects, new friends, new opportunities, and lots of fun while we’re at it. This year is all about surrounding ourselves with positive energy daily and promoting this attitude when interacting with others.
Visited a beautiful little french restaurant on Cole Street called ZaZie for brunch with friends before heading to the GGpark for a Sunday of disc golf. Zazie was small and cozy with a wooden back deck with lots and lots of outdoor heaters…My latte was a huge bowl of frothy revivalness after running to the farmer’s market early this morning with my Chef.
Though it was cloudy, it wasn’t pouring like the last morning farmers market we went there was before Christmas-now that was dreary, cold, & pleury day! This morning, we picked up some red and yellow onions, cranberry beans, cara cara oranges, pink lady apples, meyer lemons, red, green, and orange peppers, potatoes, anddd I was REALLy excited about finding some decent tomatoes at the farmers market this time a year. I swear, California soil? Some how some way a farmer figures out how to use this amazing stuff to grow anything any time of the year! it’s a blessed place that is for sure.
So today at the disc golf course, we finished the entire 18 hole course from start to finish. It was also a little warmer today so that was nice. I didn’t play as well as I did the other day but I had a few good throws.
